1. Write a Page Title
a. a descriptive title of 5 to 8 words for each page in your alpaca website

a. Simple but effective, this little standard is a great html trick that search engines still look for to determine what is important on your page. Use style sheets to redefine the tag to your own style.
5. Place Keywords in the 1st Paragraph of Your Body Text.
a. Search engines expect that your first paragraph will contain the important keywords for the document.
6. Make Your Navigation System Search Engine Friendly
a. Where possible use html links in navigation within your alpaca website
7. Develop Pages Focused on Particular Keywords
a. Develop several pages on your alpaca website focused on a different keywords or keyphrases. For example, instead of listing all your services on a single webpage, try developing a separate webpage for each.
8. Submit your site to Search Engines

Ask for a link to your alpaca website and a one-line description of what you offer be included with the article. This is an effective "viral" approach that can produce hundreds of links to your site over time.
