For his 4th book, The Alpaca Chronicles, Mike Safley asked BreedWorks partner, Susan Muther to again team with him and provide her design and illustration skills. This book takes the reader on a journey that began forty million years ago and ends here in the U.S. twelve-thousand-year's later. The book is filled with map illustrations featuring depictions of prehistoric mammals and their migration, pen and ink drawings of ancient cultures and historical figures that factor into this fascinating story.
