Define
In the Define phase, we will review, with you, your objectives for your alpaca marketing. This part of the process is intended to clarify the exact goals of the project and create a strategic plan to achieve those goals. We look at your over all alpaca marketing plan / communication objectives and help you hone them to include an effective Internet strategy. We look at the audience you intend to target. We look at your existing technical capabilities and make recommendations and suggestions that fit with your level of comfort and budget constraints. We will help you to understand your alpaca marketing project in a context of other competitors and find ways that you can actively track your return on investment.
The "Define" phase is concluded when we have presented you our findings in an Implementation Plan and have discussed this document with you in detail.

Prototype
The Prototype phase is designed to give us an opportunity to translate the findings from the Define phase into a basic blue print of your project. Typically, we start with a review of the key features within the alpaca marketing project. We then map those features and begin working out paper prototypes or "schematics" and initial "look and feels." The schematics allow us
to illustrate the basic structure of your project before moving into detailed programming. For most alpaca marketing projects, we develop three initial look and feels, or rough design directions
All project work is reviewed with you via a secure development website. At the start of each project, you are given a user name and password that provides access to this site. We will post all materials for your review here and you may examine these files at any time in the development process.
The prototype phase is critical to the success of your alpaca marketing project because it is the foundation on which we build the actual project, such as alpaca websites or alpaca email campaign templates. Not unlike an architects blue prints for a building, these prototype schematics and look and feels become the directions for constructing the final project.

Develop
With schematics describing the functional specifications and a final look and feel completed, we begin the final development. For BreedWorks, development means designing all the alpaca website pages and writing code that makes the project function. This phase is quite intense but we have a clear direction developed in the previous phases, so it's also the most direct. We're building the site elements and programming features that will drive your alpaca website. At this point in the process you'll see your project come to life.
Interim reviews during this phase keep you informed of the progress and assure that the construction is going as planned. Typically, we produce two major "releases" of your project, an "alpha" and "beta." The alpha release is a review of the major features, in place and designed. It is not unusual to find errors in coding, typographic mistakes and other minor issues in the alpha release, that's why we review it! We track each "bug" as it is identified and we make appropriate corrections and adjustments. The next release, the beta, is a more "stable" version and is nearly complete. Minor tweaks can be made at this point, but the project is almost ready for final delivery.

Deliver
The Deliver phase is the last step in the actual construction of your alpaca marketing project. We will take the fully tested project and place it in its actual working environment. For most Internet projects, this means copying the project to the final web server and then testing the project there to make certain everything functions as intended. We will have a final review with you at this point to make sure you are pleased with the outcome and we will "launch" the project.

Monitor
In the Internet age, the concept of Complete is a flexible one. As soon as a project is complete, it is time to start thinking about how the next iteration of the project will look and what types of features you will want. Monitoring your project is one of the best methods there is to determine those features that are working well, and those in need of some attention. BreedWorks will assist you in this process. We will provide you with basic tools to help you monitor the activity on your site, maintain security and even make some simple updates. If we host your site, we will provide you with frequent written reports that clearly articulate the detailed activity on your site.
We pride ourselves on our work and we want to make certain that the alpaca marketing project we deliver meets and exceeds your goals set out in the initial definition phase.
