BreedWorks resulted from the teaming of husband and wife, Hazen Reed and Susan Muther. Prior to BreedWorks, they both had individual careers developing award winning visual communication systems for both fortune 500 companies and small businesses. The formation of the company combines their expertise in visual design and digital technology with their knowledge and personal experience in breeding. BreedWorks is based in Central New York. Their office, 15 minutes away from their working Alpaca ranch, is in the heart of the beautiful Catskill Mountains.

It is their great optimism for the Alpaca Industry that moved Susan and Hazen to establish BreedWorks. They believe that the vitality and longevity of the industry rests on the success of all member farms, regardless of size. And their success rests on their individual ability to effectively market their businesses. This can be a daunting undertaking for those with little or no experience in marketing. BreedWorks takes the mystery out of marketing. Whether through personal work with clients or through educational seminars, BreedWorks strives to educate customers, arming them with tools and knowledge they need to market effectively. With BreedWorks experience and skill, we deliver Madison Avenue quality at a livestock breeder’s price. Contact us today to get your marketing program working for you

Maple Brook Farm

Having some of the finest alpacas in North America - great. Getting that message out to potential buyers at the National Auction in 2003 - challenging. Setting the record of highest selling female alpaca - $80k. The right marketing makes all the difference.
